I can happily say that the second round of line and copy edits are complete!
Here’s to hoping that I caught all my errors…
I’m hoping to look through it at minimum five more times to catch any spelling errors or overused words after I send it off to another group of Beta readers.
I find it extremely amusing that my first round of line and copy edits were so minimal in comparison to the second round. I swear I tripled the number of sticky-notes that I used when I went through it again!
So much of this book has changed since it’s inception. The first draft finished at 117,000 words and we’ve narrowed it down to 108,000 and fixed so many plot holes.
It’s been an adventure.
This will be the second of three blog posts that will already be posted when my site goes live [eventually].
